Welcome to a simple three step process designed to help get you started in a web based business. These links will give you the basic tools for making money on the internet. You can either create your own website from scratch, or if you already have a site, supplement your income with affiliated company sales which compliment your site's content or targets your site's visitors.
Most of these programs are free to join and use. One word of advice, like every successful business, it will take original ideas, a lot of hard work, and money to make it happen. Figure out your niche, work hard at it and you can succeed.
If you already run a web site, join a program, and use banners or text links to produce some additional income. I belong to each of these and make money in each program everyday. Place shopping and product links to on-line merchants on your site. You make commissions on every sale!
Quinstreet.com is a
quality affiliate center, representing many types of companies you won't
find anywhere else.. Good source of revenue on those
they represent. They are fairly new, but they are growing,
improving reports and more. Payments made about 30 days after the
previous month closes.
LinkShare:
LinkShare is one of the big networks.
They offers a multitude of top name affiliate programs in companies
like Dell, Office Depot, Hallmark, Delta Airlines, Avon, and many
more. Their reports are fantastic and allow you to monitor your
progress for all companies in one daily report. Payment reports are
great - they tell you which vendors owe you money and when each check
is mailed to you. Most merchants pay 30-60 days after the close
of the month.
Commission Junction:
Commission Junction offers more
than 1,000 merchants, with more added every day! You can find
lots of specialty retailers and many smaller affiliate programs in
their vast network. Also very easy to join new merchants and get
your needed code and links. Commission Junction pays you
directly for commissions earned for all of your companies, and best of
all, they pay monthly! I always receive
payment with 30 days of the end of a month.

One note on "pay per click" search engines - know what you are getting! The quality of some of the site traffic is not great. Also - some engines don't segregate audiences by geographic location - so make sure you advertise to US audiences if you only sell in the US. The only engine I have experienced problems with is Mamma.com. I discovered they over charged my ad account, while it was inactive no less, then gave me the run around for two months. I finally stopped my account and I'm now disputing through Visa. |
